Traditional Filipino hot chocolate made from Philippine "tablea", or blocks of ground and roasted Philippine cacao beans, served in traditional silver Filipino pots with a "batirol" that is used to mix the drink. A batirol is a traditional wooden whisk, as bits of tablea may sink to the bottom of the pot and is used by holding the handle between the palms of one's hands, then rubbing the palms together to mix the drink thoroughly.
